Trinity Ob/Gyn provides full service gynecological care

This includes annual preventative exams, management of gynecologic problems, and surgical care. Trinity offers on-site ultrasound service to provide the most thorough assessment of a patient’s problem while saving her time and money.

Annual Exam

Trinity Ob/Gyn cares about you and your health.

Take time to schedule a yearly exam – it is one of the most important things a woman can do to ensure good overall health and wellness. At this visit, we can address important topics such as a PAP smear, HPV testing, contraception, menstrual cycle and associated symptoms, peri-menopausal and menopausal issues, sexual health, and lifestyle concerns. It is also an opportunity to discuss lab tests, STD screening, a screening mammogram, bone density scans, or a colonoscopy depending on your age or symptoms.

Ultrasound

Many gynecological disorders can be easily detected with the help of ultrasound.

These include common female problems including ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, and endometrial polyps or thickening.  Trinity offers in-house ultrasound by an experienced and certified sonographer.  This is performed in a comfortable and private setting while avoiding the inconvenience of a hospital visit.

For our obstetric patients, we are capable of performing all insurance-approved ultrasounds and also have additional offerings such as early gender scans and 3D/4D capability. (See our 3D/4D Ultrasound)

Contraception

There are so many choices for birth control available to women.

Factors we consider when discussing options include age, sexual history, past medical conditions, desire for future pregnancy, and of course INDIVIDUAL preference.  We are prepared to discuss barrier methods (condoms/spermicide), oral contraceptives (birth control pills), the Depo-Provera injection, a sub-dermal arm implant (Nexplanon), an intra-uterine device (Mirena, Kyleena, Paragard), or permanent options (Bilateral Tubal Ligation).

Surgery

Trinity Ob/Gyn provides comprehensive care including indicated gynecological surgeries.

We assist each patient in reviewing all treatment options and discuss any alternatives to surgery.  A pre-operative visit will be scheduled to review all the risks and benefits of your operation, schedule any necessary lab work, as well as give you any needed prescriptions.  You will be given ample time to get all your questions answered.  We are able to perform numerous procedures in the office and offer minimally invasive surgery as well.
